Tasks: assign, date & track

Create and assign tasks with a due date, urgency, and status — assignees are notified and dated tasks land on the Calendar.

Updated June 27, 2026

Tasks is a shared to-do list for your team. Find it at Office → Tasks (/office/tasks).

Create and assign a task

  1. Open Office → Tasks.
  2. Click New task.
  3. Fill in the Title (required) and an optional Description.
  4. Optionally set a Due date and Time.
  5. Pick an Assignee, an Urgency (Low, Normal, High, or Urgent), and a Status (To do, In progress, Blocked, Done, or Cancelled).
  6. Optionally link the task to a Loan.
  7. Click Create task.

It notifies and lands on the calendar

Assigning a task to someone notifies them (they'll see it in the notification bell), and any task with a due date automatically appears on the Calendar — color-coded alongside your other dates.

Assigning a task to yourself doesn't ping you — you already know about it.
