Getting started with NoteHarbor

Create your organization, add your first loan, and invite your team.

Updated August 30, 2026

Welcome to NoteHarbor. You'll be servicing your first loan in a few minutes.

1. Your organization

When you sign up, you create an organization: your company's workspace. Every loan, borrower, and document lives inside it, isolated from everyone else. You're on a free 14-day trial with every servicing feature; no credit card to start.

2. Add your first loan

Go to Loans → New and walk through the wizard:

  • Direction: Asset (a note you hold and collect on) or Liability (a loan you owe and pay out).
  • Terms: principal, rate, term, payment frequency. The engine builds a penny-accurate amortization schedule automatically.
  • Property & parties: the borrower (or lender), the property address, and any county tax records.

3. Invite your team

Under Settings → Team, invite your bookkeeper or partner. Roles range from Owner (full control + billing) down to Team Member, but every level can create and edit loans and payments. There is no view-only seat.
