Some borrowers still mail a check every month — a coupon book gives them a torn-off slip for each one, instead of guessing the amount or losing the loan number.
Open the menu
On an asset loan with a primary borrower, click Borrower Items in the header, then find Coupon Book.
Choose how many months to print
Pick 6, 12, 24, 36, or 60 months — the book stops early at whatever's left on the schedule, so a loan with 4 payments remaining prints 4 coupons even if you ask for 12.
What's on each coupon
Every coupon repeats the loan number, borrower name, payment number, due date, and the amount due broken into principal & interest plus escrow — so a single torn-off coupon is self-contained however it gets mailed back. Each one also has a remittance stub (amount enclosed / check #) and a payee line ("make checks payable to…").
Paying online instead
Each coupon includes a Pay online box with a clickable link into the borrower's portal — the same secure, no-login page every other statement links to, showing their balance and payment history.
Balloon and final payments
If a loan has a balloon, the last coupon in its schedule is flagged FINAL PAYMENT — BALLOON DUE so it isn't mistaken for a regular month. A loan that matures naturally flags its last coupon FINAL SCHEDULED PAYMENT instead.
A paid-off or fully-matured loan has nothing left to print — the book renders a single clean "No Upcoming Coupons" page rather than an empty or broken PDF. See also Statements & payment receipts.
