Generate a loan statement or a single-payment receipt straight from the loan.
Open the menu
On a loan, click Statements & receipts in the header.
Download a statement PDF
Click Download statement PDF for a full statement: balances, amount due, and the last 12 months of payment history. The PDF includes a clickable borrower portal link, so the borrower can jump from their statement into their portal.
Download or email a payment receipt
- Under Payment receipt, choose the payment (it defaults to the most recent).
- Click Download receipt PDF to save it, or Email receipt to borrower to send it.
Emailing a receipt needs an email address on the primary borrower's record. Add one and the email option appears. See also Monthly statement emails.
Attached files and generated receipts
An attached file supports a selected payment. The receipt PDF generated here summarizes the payment recorded in NoteHarbor. Attaching a document does not record another payment or alter its amounts. See Recording a payment for attachment limits and retry steps.
Open or download an attached receipt
Open a file from the payment's paperclip list. Supported images and plain-text TXT open in the viewer. TXT is displayed as text, not as an interactive web page. Use Download to save the attached file.
PDF display depends on the browser. If an embedded preview is unavailable, use the viewer's open or download option. A failed preview does not mean the payment failed or the attachment should be uploaded again.
Payment receipts are excluded from AI document processing. Do not send receipts through the loan-import flow or paste their contents into an AI prompt. Recognition of a known receipt file is not permission to submit an edited copy.
Dated payoff statements and current limits
Payoff statements are dated. Check the quote date and each displayed component against the loan's recorded history before relying on the total. A generated statement is not a recorded payoff payment.
Payoff letters are currently unavailable for loans configured with daily interest after a missed payment. If the app refuses a letter, do not change the loan's interest setting just to produce it. Review the dated information on the loan and resolve the unsupported statement request separately.
