Loan documents and payment receipts on the web
On a loan's Docs (the Records menu) and when you attach payment receipts in Record Payment or Payment History, you can choose up to 10 files per upload, each up to 20 MB, with up to 40 MB in total. Text receipts (.txt) can be up to 20 MB as well. Small selections upload the usual way; larger ones use a secure direct upload, and every file is checked before it is saved to the loan. The upload form always shows the limits that apply.
Loan documents accept PDF, Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), JPEG, PNG and WebP. Payment receipts accept PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP and plain-text TXT.
Other upload forms
Other upload forms keep their own limits, which they show. For example, receipts on a collectible charge and receipts on an escrow bill are limited to 4 MB per file.
Coming in the next app update: photos and receipts from your phone
The next release of the NoteHarbor phone app adds:
- Payment receipts: take a photo, choose one from your photo library, or pick a file (PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or a .txt file). Up to 10 files per upload: photos and PDFs up to 4 MB each, a .txt file up to 1 MB, and 4 MB in total.
- Loan photos (iPhone): attach one photo at a time (JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC), up to 4 MB.
HEIC is the format iPhones and some Android phones save photos in. The app converts a HEIC photo to JPEG on the phone before it uploads. Location and other private photo details are removed on the phone before any photo leaves it. Until the update reaches your phone, attach these files from the web.
